Course outline

If you are working within the hospitality industry and want to improve your product knowledge on Australian wine varieties and regions, this course is for you. You will learn to evaluate a range of Australian wines, provide advice to customers on their selection and how to pair Australian wine with food. This course includes the accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) unit, SITHFAB201 Provide responsible service of alcohol. Successful graduates are working as winery sales staff, beverage sales consultants, bar specialists, sommeliers and senior food and beverage attendants.
